We took our original imperial pastry stout, Blacklight Breakfast, packed with blueberries and maple syrup and aged it for 9 months in dark rum barrels. The result is a rich, decadent stout with notes of molasses and liquorice. The bold flavours of the original beer have been enhanced through the barrel ageing process, with the woody and spicy notes complementing the sweetness of the original beer. Our blueberry pancake inspired beer but all grown up!
